Rushdie’s text on Reality tv

January 11th, 2009 · No Comments
Part1

In this text Rushdie is talking about the unnecessariness of reality tv shows.  In these shows competitors are doing everything to win the big price. Especially in “Big Brother” and “Survivor” people are fighting each other, kissing each other etc. These are all for taking attention of people who are watching them. As Rushdie states, people are getting more addicted on these reality things; as time passes, they want to see more and more about these things. If they see a murder in newspaper, the other day they want to see a massacre. These kind of things are washing people’s brains and making them asocial and insensitive individuals.
